FAIR OAKS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HONORARY MAYOR Candidate
Matthew Mason is a Fair Oaks native, who has lived here his entire life. After attending Orangevale Open, Matthew started at Bella Vista High School and will graduate in June with the Class of 2019. During his freshman year he became the first ever Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce Jr. Honorary Mayor, and still serves as one of the Chamber’s Youth Ambassadors. During his four years at Bella Vista, Matthew took Drawing and Painting, and even happens to be one of the artists behind the “Hermie” mural located in the Village. Matthew’s connection to the Fair Oaks community inspired him to run for honorary mayor, and he hopes to raise as much money as possible for the Bella Vista High School Visual Arts. He is currently the youngest candidate for honorary mayor, and if elected would be the youngest mayor in Fair Oaks history.
41st annual Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce Honorary Mayor Campaign Election to Honorary Mayor is determined by the candidate who raises the most money over the next 5 months. Each dollar raised counts as 1 vote.
The proceeds raised from each candidate will have a 50/50 split between the
Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce, and the charity of the candidate’s choice.
The winner will be announced on Wednesday September 11th at the North Ridge Country Club in Fair Oaks. This event has raised funds of over $460,153.56 of which has been given back to the Fair Oaks Community
