THE EVENT
Our first concert begins on June 13th with Proxy. The series continues throughout July and August. It is free fun for the whole family. Bring your picnic dinner or buy comfort food (pizza, hot dogs or ice cream sundaes). Now is the time to relax and enjoy the summer with friends, families and strangers. Dancing, eating, laughing, and laying back are all that is required.
We have an audience of about 450 music lovers per concert. Some concerts draw an audience of 800. As the bands represent several genres of music, the concert goers rotate in attendance.
Concerts in the Park has become a Fair Oaks Tradition. The entire community supports the concerts through sponsorships: businesses, local non-profit organizations and private families.

Fair Oaks Sun Run
The Fair Oaks Sun Run has been an annual tradition in Fair Oaks, California for 32 years and – believe it or not – it hasn’t gotten one bit easier! Regarded as one of the most beautiful and challenging courses around, it never fails to attract both the avid runner and those who are out to have a great time at a great event. Choose either the 5-mile run/walk or a 2.3 mile family walk which both start at Village Park in Old Fair Oaks. The 5-mile route winds through the beautiful Old Fair Oaks residential neighborhood with a keyhole loop to Sailor Bar. The course is half paved roads, half dirt trail and features the infamous four hills: Grand Daddy Hill, Hernia Hill, The Beast and Last Gasp. The 2.3 mile event stays on the paved roads through Old Fair Oaks. We also host the best kids’ fun runs (1/4 mile and ½ mile) in the Greater Sacramento area.
