Discount Card Program

The Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a new business building program for 2012. With this new program we will leverage all participating businesses to increase your business.

We are going to offer a discount card program to the general public. The program will have 4 components.

1. Participating members that offer a one time or ongoing discount to card holders.
2. Organizations that sell the card as a fund raiser
3. Participating members that sell the card to non members
4. Non participating members that buy or sell the card

Discount Offers by Businesses

Participating members can offer a onetime discount such as 20% of your first purchase over $50 or one hour free consulting for new clients. Participating members could offer an ongoing discount such as $2 off a large pizza. A participating business could even offer both types of discounts.  Participating members can change the discount offered quarterly. The details of the discount offered will be on the chamber website. This allows for new members to be added during the year.

Discount Card Sales

Organizations such as soccer clubs, PTA, Booster clubs could sell the discount cards as a fund raiser.  The Card will sell for $25 and the organization gets $8 for every card sold. If you know of an organization that may want participate please contact the chamber office.

All participating member  businesses can display that they accept the card and have cards for purchase for the first 3 months of program and longer if desired. Participating members will start by buying their own card and if desired will be assigned a limited number of tickets to make available for sale. Don’t worry the cards will sell themselves. We just want unsold cards back if they do not sell. We will have a prize for those of you who sell the most. For the months of January, February and March the member that sells the most tickets will earn a free lunch. We will also give away two $50 gift certificates to two chamber restaurants of your choice in November for the chamber member who has sold the most tickets.

Non participating member businesses can buy discount cards, sell discount cards or buy the discount card and give to clients as a client appreciation gift.

How to Sign Up

Download the Discount Card Participant Form to sign up as a participating member or your can pick it up at the  chamber office. Please fill out and return to the chamber office as soon as you can.

This is a great opportunity for members to connect and interact with each other to promote business in the greater Fair Oaks area.

The cards will be available for purchase at the Chamber office starting “December 20th, 2011″
